💡 Try-It Exercise: The Automated Briefing Deck (15 mins)

Goal: Have your main AI assistant act as a presentation strategist, generating prompts you will use to create a 3-slide executive briefing in Google Slides.

Part 1: Generate Your Presentation Strategy (in Gemini Chat)

First, ask your main Gemini chat assistant to create the plan and the prompts for your slide deck. Use the Master Prompt below in a new 🚀 Gemini Chat

The Master Prompt

Part 2: Build the Deck (in Google Slides)

  1. Open a new presentation on 👨🏻‍🏫 Google Slides
  2. Open the Gemini Side Panel (✨) on the top right near the account icon.
  3. Generate Slide 1: copy the "Prompt for Slide 1" from Gemini chat, paste into Gemini for Google Slides side panel, and click Create. Then paste the "SPEAKER NOTES" into the slide notes.
  4. Generate Slide 2: create a new blank slide, paste "Prompt for Slide 2" into the side panel, Create, then paste notes.
  5. Generate Slide 3: create the final blank slide, paste "Prompt for Slide 3", Create, then paste notes.

Why this is a game-changer: You create a professional, narrative-driven presentation in minutes by using one AI to strategise and another to execute in a specialised tool.

📝 Day 9 Knowledge Check

Question: What was the main purpose of the "Master Prompt" used in Part 1 of today's exercise?

Answer (B): Correct! This is the essence of meta-prompting — you used one AI to create a strategy and the prompts to execute that strategy in a specialised application.
